Inspiration: While I was photographing in a farm park an ostrich leaned into the shot in such a way that this ‘ostrich selfie’ idea sprang to mind! I enjoyed playing with my new favourite medium (water soluble oil paint) injecting as much colour, life and energy as I could into the painting to express how this ostrich moved.
